HackerOne has expanded its executive leadership with the appointment of Stephanie Furfaro as Chief Revenue Officer and Stacy Leidwinger as Chief Marketing Officer, as the company seeks to accelerate growth in the threat exposure management market. Furfaro will oversee all revenue-related operations, including sales, customer success, and partnerships, while Leidwinger will lead global marketing across brand, product, demand, and field functions.
The appointments aim to strengthen HackerOne’s go-to-market execution as enterprises contend with a security environment increasingly shaped by automation and artificial intelligence. Furfaro brings more than 25 years of experience scaling software businesses, having previously served as Chief Business Officer at Rapid7 and General Manager at DigitalOcean, along with senior roles at Adobe and Macromedia. Leidwinger joins from Secureworks, where she guided marketing through the company’s shift toward a software platform model, and she also brings prior experience in AI and data initiatives from IBM.
Commenting on her appointment, Furfaro said she looks forward to joining an organization that integrates human insight with AI to achieve measurable outcomes for clients. Leidwinger added, “I’m energized to elevate HackerOne’s customer and partner value message and show why Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), paired with the unique combination of AI and human adversarial expertise, drives stronger results than anything else on the market today.”
CEO Kara Sprague described the hires as timely, stating, “Stephanie and Stacy join HackerOne at a pivotal moment for our company and the cybersecurity industry.” The leadership changes come after a year of product updates and $81 million in bug bounties, highlighting strong demand for HackerOne’s security services.
