A native of Sweden, Sandström earned his master’s degree in business and administration with a focus on communication from the Stockholm School of Economics. Before joining Klarna, he was the CEO of one of Sweden’s top advertising agencies, where he honed his ability to decode consumer behavior across industries. His background in strategic marketing and brand positioning has been pivotal in Klarna’s growth. At Klarna, he oversees branding, public relations, design, and communication, ensuring the company stays ahead of evolving e-commerce trends while maintaining a strong, recognizable identity.
