PagerDuty has appointed John DiLullo as Chief Executive Officer, concluding a succession planning process engineered by the board of directors. DiLullo replaces Jennifer Tejada, who led the operations management firm since 2016 and now moves into the role of Executive Chair of the Board of Directors. Under Tejada's leadership, the company completed an initial public offering in 2019 and grew its annual revenue from under $50 million to nearly $500 million. Commenting on the leadership transition, Tejada stated, "I am confident this is the right time for this transition, and that John is the right leader to guide PagerDuty through its next phase of growth."
DiLullo joins the organization with more than 25 years of experience steering enterprise software, cloud, and cybersecurity businesses through operational shifts. He most recently served as CEO of Deepwatch, where he managed an operational transformation focused on sustainable corporate growth. Prior to that position, he held the top executive role at LiveVox and previously served as CEO of Lastline. His background is heavily concentrated on driving operational discipline, scaling AI-driven automation, and managing go-to-market leadership across private and public technology companies.
DiLullo will prioritize scaling the company’s AI-first Operations Cloud platform to meet the demands of complex digital environments. He will collaborate with Tejada to transition into the role and maintain the company's long-term strategy across domestic and international markets. DiLullo highlighted the expanding need for intelligent, real-time operations management, stating, "I look forward to partnering closely with Jenn, the Board, the leadership team and our employees to further build on this momentum on a strong foundation, and lead the Company through its next phase of growth and innovation."
