Harold MacDowell is a renowned business executive who has made significant contributions to TDIndustries Inc., a leading facilities services and mechanical construction company based in Dallas, Texas. Born and raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma, Harold's journey began when his family relocated to Arkansas and eventually settled in Texas, where he attended Southern Methodist University.

In 1984, Harold graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering management. Eager to find his calling, he joined TDIndustries the following year as an assistant project manager. Throughout his more than 30-year tenure with the company, Harold steadily climbed the ranks, gaining valuable experience in almost every role within the organization in Dallas and other cities.

In 2005, Harold MacDowell assumed the position of TDIndustries' third CEO, a role he held for a remarkable 18 years. Under his leadership, the company experienced tremendous growth, tripling in size and establishing itself as a trusted industry leader in mechanical construction and facilities management. 

Harold's strong leadership skills and unwavering commitment to excellence played a pivotal role in shaping TDIndustries' culture and paving the way for its continued success.

Harold MacDowell's dedication to serving the community extends beyond his professional responsibilities. He has actively contributed to several organizations, including the SMU School of Engineering Advisory Board, Methodist Health System Foundation Board, UTD Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance Advisory Board, Parish Episcopal School Board, Dallas Regional Chamber, United Way of Greater Dallas, QUOIN-AGC, and the Construction Education Foundation. Through his involvement with these institutions, Harold has worked to strengthen the community and support individuals aspiring to excel in their respective trades.

As a testament to his remarkable career, Harold MacDowell announced his retirement as CEO of TDIndustries Inc. as part of the company's succession plan. He will step down as CEO of TDIndustries Inc. at the end of the year as part of the company's plan for the next leader.
