Francois Ajenstat, Chief Product Officer at Amplitude, believes that true leadership starts with focusing less on personal accolades and more on delivering meaningful outcomes. Guided by his mantra to 'care deeply about the outcomes,' Ajenstat has led Amplitude to new heights since joining in November 2023. Francois has helped the company solidify its reputation as a leader in digital analytics, achieving a 9% year-over-year increase in Annual Recurring Revenue, reaching $298 million as of Q3 2024. 

Born in Canada, Ajenstat earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Ottawa. Prior to joining Amplitude, he spent 13 years at Tableau, where he played a critical role in its evolution from a small startup to a major industry player, culminating in its $15.7 billion acquisition by Salesforce. At Amplitude, he oversees product management, design, and growth initiatives on a global scale, ensuring the company’s offerings remain cutting-edge and relevant in an ever-changing market.
