Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation has announced the appointment of Dr. Raymond Turner as Corporate Vice President and Chief Medical Officer. Turner will oversee worldwide medical affairs and clinical development activities, including clinical research, trial operations, medical safety, evidence generation, and communications. 

Integra LifeSciences develops medical technologies in surgical, neurologic, and regenerative care to improve patient outcomes. “Dr. Turner’s extensive medical and clinical experience and expertise will be significant assets to Integra as we strengthen our focus on building robust clinical evidence,” said Mojdeh Poul, President and Chief Executive Officer of Integra LifeSciences.

Turner brings more than two decades of clinical and leadership experience, having served in senior roles at Siemens Healthineers and Johnson & Johnson’s Cerenovus. He has also held academic and clinical positions, including Chief of Neuroscience and Program Director of Neurosurgery at the Medical University of South Carolina. A practicing neurosurgeon, he most recently served at Intermountain Health in Billings, Montana, and continues his work as an Examiner for the American Board of Neurological Surgery. “I am excited to be joining Integra, an organization deeply committed to providing best-in-class, evidence-based products that help restore patient lives,” said Turner.
