Zendesk is hiring Amplitude’s former marketing chief after its AI bookings more than doubled in fiscal 2026. Tifenn Dano Kwan will join the customer service software company as Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing global marketing, market differentiation, and pipeline.
The company said AI bookings are on track to more than double again in fiscal year 2027 to more than $400 million. Zendesk has also recently rolled out agentic messaging, voice AI agents, and email AI agents.
At Amplitude, Dano Kwan helped lead the company’s shift toward an AI-native analytics platform. During her tenure, Amplitude reported a 52% year-over-year increase in website traffic and built a global marketing engine responsible for more than one-third of marketing-sourced pipeline.
Before Amplitude, Dano Kwan spent nearly a decade at SAP, serving as Chief Marketing Officer for SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass. She has also held leadership roles at Collibra and Dropbox, with experience across Singapore, Sydney, Paris, and San Francisco.
Zendesk CEO Tom Eggemeier said Dano Kwan’s experience in “scaling pipeline, leading AI-driven marketing, and aligning GTM functions” will be important as the company moves further into autonomous customer service. Dano Kwan said Zendesk’s category leadership has built “a level of trust and credibility with the market that you can’t manufacture overnight.”
