ACI Worldwide has appointed JP Krishnamoorthy as Chief Innovation and Technology Officer, placing him in charge of the company’s Global Technology & Innovation organization. Krishnamoorthy assumes responsibility for technology strategy and execution as the company focuses on smarter payments orchestration, deeper use of AI, and faster delivery of new capabilities for banks, billers, and merchants. His mandate includes strengthening platform intelligence while ensuring the continuous availability required for always-on payments operations.
Chief Executive Officer Tom Warsop said the company is entering an important phase of platform transformation. “We are in a critical modernization phase, and we need a technology leader who understands how to drive innovation and build smarter capabilities into our platforms while maintaining the 24/7 reliability our customers require,” Warsop said, adding that Krishnamoorthy brings deep experience in large-scale payments systems and AI deployment.
Before joining ACI, Krishnamoorthy served as Executive Vice President of Engineering, AI, Cloud Operations, and Cybersecurity at Coupa Software, where he led platform modernization initiatives and developed Community.ai to apply machine learning to transaction data. He also held senior roles at Oracle and Portal Software.
