Telefónica Tech UK&I has appointed Martyn Bullerwell as its new Chief Executive Officer. Bullerwell, who joined the company through the acquisition of the business he founded, most recently served as Vice President of the Data & AI Practice. With a background in data, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation, he has been instrumental in strengthening Telefónica Tech’s expertise in these areas. Telefónica Tech UK&I delivers services across cloud, cyber security, business applications, and data & AI, and recently marked its growth by opening a new headquarters at London’s 20 Fenchurch Street, designed as a hub for innovation and collaboration.
Bullerwell succeeds Mark Gorton, who stepped down after six years at the company, including three as CEO. Gorton played a central role in the integration of Telefónica Tech UK&I following its acquisition in 2021 and in expanding its presence through the successful incorporation of Incremental Group in 2022. Reflecting on his new role, Bullerwell said, “I am excited to take on this role and to build on the strong foundation laid by Mark and the leadership team. We will continue to focus on delivering value for our customers and driving sustainable growth in our markets.” The leadership transition marks a new chapter for Telefónica Tech UK&I as it continues to strengthen its role in driving digital transformation across the UK and Ireland.
