Fidelma Russo sees innovation as a product of collaboration, not just technology. At Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), where she serves as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Hybrid Cloud business unit and Chief Technology Officer, she drives both innovation and execution. Overseeing a global team of 5,500, she spearheads HPE’s hybrid cloud strategy, ensuring products like HPE GreenLake deliver real value to customers. By breaking down silos within the company, she creates a dynamic environment where ideas flourish—leading to cutting-edge advancements in cloud computing, AI infrastructure, and enterprise storage solutions.

Born in Ireland, Russo earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from University College Cork and a master’s degree in computer science from Boston University. Her career spans more than 30 years, with leadership roles at VMware, Iron Mountain, EMC, Hewlett-Packard, and Sun Microsystems. At HPE, she oversees the development of hybrid cloud products and services, including private cloud, SaaS solutions, and data storage. In addition to her executive responsibilities, she serves on the board of Equinix and HP International Bank, further cementing her influence in the technology sector.
