Legal AI startup Harvey has hired Anique Drumright as its first Chief Product Officer as competition intensifies in software for law firms. Chief Executive Winston Weinberg said the company needs faster product development while expanding adoption across legal practices. He remarked, “Her slope of learning is very high,” adding that she quickly reviewed internal material and returned with “really good product ideas.”

Drumright will guide product direction and release timelines as the company works to maintain its position among large law firms, where it already holds licenses across more than half of the top 100 U.S. firms and generates over $190 million in annual recurring revenue. The hiring comes as AI model providers and rival startups introduce competing tools, increasing pressure on specialized legal software.

Drumright previously held leadership roles at Uber, Loom, TripActions, and Rippling, where she worked on IT management products.
