GeneDx announced the appointment of Dr. Linda Genen, MD, MPH, as Chief Medical Officer to advance the company’s mission of delivering earlier answers and improved health outcomes through genomic insights. In her role, Genen will oversee Medical and Clinical Affairs, lead clinical strategy, and promote the adoption of genomic medicine across health systems, payers, policymakers, and the broader medical community. She will also guide real-world evidence initiatives, payer engagement, and collaborate with GeneDx’s innovation, commercial, and policy teams to expand genomic-first care.
Genen joins GeneDx from ProgenyHealth, where she served as Chief Medical Officer, focusing on maternal-infant health, clinical strategy, and analytics.
