Siemens Healthineers has appointed Martin Stumpe as Chief Technology Officer. The announcement, shared on social media by CEO Bernd Montag, comes during a period of strategic transition following plans to deconsolidate Siemens’ remaining stake and move toward greater independence.

With annual revenues exceeding $24 billion, the company continues to strengthen its technological capabilities to support precision medicine and digital healthcare solutions. Stumpe joins from Danaher, where he most recently served as chief technology and AI officer, bringing experience in integrating advanced technologies within healthcare systems.

Stumpe’s background includes leadership roles in AI-driven healthcare innovation, including work at Tempus and earlier initiatives at Google and NASA. Commenting on the move, Montag stated, “His deep expertise in software development and artificial intelligence in the healthcare space will significantly contribute to increasing our impact in Healthcare AI.”
