
Binance.US has appointed Stephen Gregory as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Norman Reed, who will remain with the company as an advisor. Gregory previously served as U.S. CEO of Currency.com and held compliance roles at Gemini and CEX.io, bringing experience in digital asset infrastructure and regulatory matters.
Commenting on his appointment, Gregory said, "I am honored to lead the Binance.US team as we write the next chapter for the best platform for U.S. crypto investors to buy, trade, and earn digital assets," while also acknowledging the contributions of Founder Changpeng Zhao and outgoing leadership. Reed expressed confidence in the transition, stating, "Stephen brings an entrepreneurial approach to leadership that I am confident will deliver for our customers in a meaningful way."
The leadership change follows a period of product development, including enhancements to staking, rewards programs, and referral offerings. Binance.US plans to expand its Earn portfolio and introduce additional access points to decentralized finance and tokenized assets, reinforcing its focus on compliant growth.
