Dataminr, a real-time AI-driven intelligence platform, has appointed Balaji Yelamanchili as President and Chief Operating Officer as the company integrates ThreatConnect and scales its operations. Yelamanchili joined Dataminr shortly after the company completed its $290 million acquisition of ThreatConnect, where he served as CEO. He succeeds Brian Gumbel, who will transition into a strategic advisory role. Yelamanchili brings decades of experience leading technology and security organizations, including senior roles at Oracle, Symantec, and investment positions at Shasta Ventures and Elliott Management.

“A seasoned technology and security executive, Balaji brings a wealth of experience to Dataminr, including decades in leadership roles at the intersection of data, analytics, AI, and security with a strong track record of scaling organizations, leading go-to-market transformation, and building high-performing teams,” Dataminr said.
