Yama Habibzai has joined Aptean as Chief Marketing Officer, taking over global marketing as the company expands its industry-specific AI software for manufacturing and distribution customers. He will lead marketing operations across Aptean’s international footprint and help communicate the company’s native AI capabilities across its vertical software portfolio.
Habibzai brings more than 25 years of experience scaling enterprise software and cloud businesses through growth stages, public offerings, and acquisitions. He most recently led marketing at Device42, where he managed pipeline performance and AI-driven growth initiatives before the company was acquired by Freshworks.
His background also includes senior marketing roles at Netcordia, Infoblox, SevOne, ScienceLogic, and IBM Cloud. Across those roles, he focused on positioning technology platforms for enterprise customers and supporting growth in competitive software markets.
At Aptean, Habibzai will work with industrial customers moving toward purpose-built, sector-specific tools. CEO TVN Reddy said Habibzai’s experience with fast-growing technology platforms will help Aptean communicate the value of its industry-specific software and native AI applications.
Habibzai said market demand is shifting away from generic AI tools and toward platforms built for specific sectors, creating an opportunity for Aptean in manufacturing and distribution workflows.
