Flywire Corporation announced the appointment of Nicole James as its Chief People Officer, reporting to CEO Mike Massaro. In her new role, James will oversee the company’s human resources functions, including people operations, total rewards, workplace experience, and talent development. 

Flywire, a payments enablement and software company, leverages its proprietary payments network and vertical-specific software to simplify complex transactions across industries such as education, healthcare, travel, and B2B markets. Announcing her appointment, Massaro said, “We believe Nicole’s industry expertise in FinTech, coupled with her extensive leadership in organizational strategy, talent development, and M&A, will help us achieve our next level of scale. We're confident that her skills and vision will be instrumental in nurturing our high-performance teams and fostering a culture of continuous learning.”

James previously served as Chief People Officer at Credit Karma and held leadership roles at Unite Us and Square, where she guided large-scale expansion and organizational transformation. She holds a bachelor's degree from the Wharton School and MBA from IE Business School.
