Before Waymo, Dolgov contributed to autonomous driving efforts at Toyota and Stanford, gaining experience in the field. He holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in physics and math from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and earned a PhD in computer science from the University of Michigan. Over the years, he has played a crucial role in shaping the company’s vision, most recently by focusing on developing Waymo's AI-based autonomous driving technology.
