Acrisure has announced the appointment of Benjamin Funk as Chief Technology and Chief AI Officer, where he will guide its worldwide technology roadmap with an emphasis on AI-driven transformation, enterprise automation, and enhanced digital client experiences. Funk will report to Chief Operating Officer Mark Wassersug. Greg Williams, Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Acrisure, said the appointment aligns with the company’s long-term growth strategy, noting, “Adding Ben to our leadership team will expand and accelerate the value we bring to clients, partners, and colleagues worldwide.”
Funk previously served as Global Head of Insurance at Palantir, where he led engineering teams in developing AI-based solutions for the insurance and financial sectors. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Stanford University and pursued doctoral research at the University of Cambridge.
