Anaconda, a major open-source platform for Python and AI development, has appointed David DeSanto as its new Chief Executive Officer and member of its Board of Directors. DeSanto brings over 25 years of product and engineering experience, most recently serving as Chief Product Officer at GitLab, where he helped transform the company from a startup to a public enterprise software leader. His leadership at GitLab saw the launch of initiatives such as GitLab Duo, GitLab Dedicated, and integrated DevSecOps solutions.
