The individuals highlighted in this year's list exhibit a diverse set of skills, such as adept risk management, visionary innovation, and a steadfast commitment to sustainability and societal impact. These exemplary characteristics exemplify the outstanding qualities inherent in executive leadership within the region.

Among the recipients of this year's awards, Ben Midgley stands out for his accomplishments as the CEO of Crunch Fitness. With 29 years of experience in the fitness industry, Forbes has honored Midgley as "One of the Biggest Names in the Fitness Industry." Meanwhile, James Drexinger, the CEO of Associated Materials and former CEO of private equity-backed American Construction Source (ACS), is another notable awardee. Under Drexinger's leadership, ACS achieved a run-rate revenue of $1 billion, marked by above-market gross margins and EBITDA.

Jennifer Dye, the Founder and CEO of InSync Training, a global virtual consulting firm, is also recognized for her contributions. A seasoned industry veteran and author of three books on virtual learning, Dye has positioned InSync Training as a pioneer and influencer in the virtual education realm. The firm collaborates with clients across diverse sectors and regions, including Fortune 100 companies, major healthcare brands, and multinational IT service providers, under Dye's visionary guidance.

1. Tracy Byers
Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Imaging, Optum

Tracy Byers is the Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Imaging at Optum, a Minnesota-based healthcare company that provides personalized care, pharmacy benefits, and health reimbursement for individuals. Leading Change Healthcare's Enterprise Imaging business since 2023, Byers drives growth, expands market share, and advances Change Healthcare’s position as a transformational leader in artificial intelligence, data analytics, and decision support in healthcare technology.

Byers is a senior healthcare IT executive with 25 years of experience in the medical device and healthcare technology industry. Previously, she was an SVP and GM of Enterprise Imaging at Change Healthcare and before that a global sales leader in Watson Health at IBM. Byers has also worked with Philips Healthcare as a VP of marketing, cardiac care and ultrasound. She holds an MBA from D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and a bachelor’s in finance from Lehigh University.

 

2. David Dunbar
Chief Executive Officer, Standex International

David Dunbar is the Chief Executive Officer of Standex International. Founded in 1955, Standex International is a leading global industrials company serving the electronics, engraving, and specialty technology industries. With over 50 years on the New York Stock Exchange, the company is recognized for its market-leading brands and customer intimacy approach. Notably, Dunbar has nearly 30 years of experience in the electronics and technology industry. He most recently served as president of the valves and controls global business unit of Pentair Ltd. from 2009-2013 (where he was appointed by the Flow Control business unit of Tyco International Ltd., which merged with Pentair in 2012).

From 1997-2009, Dunbar also held senior management positions at Emerson Electric Co. (senior management), Emerson Process Management Europe, (president), Machinery Health Management (president), and Emerson Climate Technologies Refrigeration (president). Before his time at Emerson Electric, Dunbar served in several industrial automation and control business roles at Honeywell International Inc., starting as a Manufacturing Strategy Product Leader in Europe and later leading Honeywell’s Industrial Automation and Controls Sales and Services business in the Western US. Dunbar earned Master and BS in Electrical Engineering degrees from Stanford University.

 

3. Ben Midgley
Chief Executive Officer, Crunch Fitness

Ben Midgley is the Chief Executive Officer of Crunch Fitness. Often viewed as more than just a gym, Crunch Fitness is an industry-leading health club chain that fuses fitness and entertainment. Since opening their doors in 1989, Crunch Fitness’ mission has been to make working out a good time. Today, they are renowned for creating unique group fitness classes and programming for their wildly diverse members. A 29-year veteran of the fitness industry, Midgley has been dubbed "One of the Biggest Names in the Fitness Industry" by Forbes.

Additionally, Midgley is the only person in the industry to serve as the CEO and/or president of the two largest and fastest growing, full-size fitness franchises Crunch Fitness and Planet Fitness. He has led the growth of Crunch Franchising from concept to now having over 2 million members across 39 states and 6 countries. Midgley first got his start in 1999 as a Senior Director of Corporate Sales at 24 Hour Fitness. He continued his trajectory, eventually rising to president and executive vice president at Planet Fitness, before joining Crunch Fitness.

 

4. James Drexinger
Chief Executive Officer, Associated Materials

James Drexinger is the Chief Executive Officer of Associated Materials and has been an integral part of the company since 2022. Associated Materials LLC is a market leader in vinyl windows, vinyl cladding, and metal siding and trim. Having amassed over $1.5 billion in revenue, Associated Materials has become a giant in the building products industry. Notably, Drexinger is a proven senior executive in the building products industry, respected for his ability to drive operational excellence, capture market share, and improve customer experiences. Most recently, he served as the CEO for private equity-backed American Construction Source (ACS), a leading national building materials distribution platform and manufacturer of value-add building products.

Under Drexinger's stewardship, ACS achieved $1 billion in run-rate revenue at above-market gross margins and EBITDA. Drexinger also helped drive significant growth at ACS, both organically and through multiple strategic acquisitions. Before ACS, Drexinger served as Division President and Executive Vice President of Stock Building Supply. He has also held senior executive roles at Wolseley North America, NIBCO, and Armstrong World Industries. Drexinger graduated from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania with an MBA and from Lehigh University with a bachelor’s in finance and management.

 

5. Tony Mollica
Chief Executive Officer, Twin Rivers Paper Company

Tony Mollica is the Chief Executive Officer of Twin Rivers Paper Company, an integrated specialty paper manufacturer producing over half a million tons of paper per year for the publishing, label, technical, and packaging sectors. Headquartered in Madawaska, Maine, Twin Rivers operates facilities across the US, including upstate New York and central Arkansas, that produce uncoated and coated white papers and natural kraft paper in a broad range of basis weights and finishes.

Mollica started his career in 1993 as a Manager of Technical Sales Service and Product Development at MeadWestvaco (MWV). From there, he went on to become EVP of consumer mills at WestRock Company. Mollica graduated from Daniel Webster College with an MBA in aviation, airway management and operations and from State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry with an undergraduate degree in paper science and engineering.

 

6. Frank Pennisi
Chief Executive Officer, EFI

Frank Pennisi is the Chief Executive Officer of EFI, a company that is leading the transformation from analog to digital imaging with scalable, digital, award-winning products. As CEO, Pennisi helps EFI drive its mission to develop breakthrough technologies that transform and streamline the entire production process, increase competitiveness, and boost productivity. Prior to EFI, Pennisi was President and CEO of Orora North America, including Orora Packaging Solutions, a California-based corrugated packaging company leveraging EFI, Nozomi technology, and Orora Visual (among the largest North American users of EFI VUTEk display graphics and EFI Reggiani industrial textile digital printers).

At the Orora Group, Pennisi led the company to its largest share of growth and profit for the 2022 fiscal year. Previously, Pennisi spent 20 years in leadership positions at FLIR Systems (now Teledyne FLIR), Honeywell, and GE. Pennisi’s proven experience in driving profitable growth, accountability, and quality ensures that EFI continues to lead the market in customer service, technological innovation, new market growth, and delivering best-in-class industrial solutions that redefine the future of print and packaging. Pennisi earned a MS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and a BS in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

 

7. Ana Dominguez
President & Chief Executive Officer, Lindt & Sprüngli

Ana Dominguez is the President & Chief Executive Officer of Lindt & Sprüngli USA. Headquartered in Stratham, New Hampshire, Lindt USA is the fastest growing premium chocolate manufacturer in the US market. Dominguez has a proven executive management track record with various well-known brands in the consumer products industry. Before being promoted to President and CEO of Lindt USA, she started her journey at Lindt in 2019 as President and CEO of Lindt Canada.

Before joining Lindt, Dominguez amassed an impressive array of achievements with international giants Procter & Gamble, SC Johnson, and Campbell’s Soup Company. She graduated from the Schiller International University in France with an MBA in International Business and from Universidad de Los Andes with an undergraduate degree in industrial engineering. Dominguez’s preference for dark, rich chocolate makes her favorite Lindt product the delicious EXCELLENCE Sea Salt bar.

 

8. John Skevington
Chief Executive Officer, Parkland Medical Center

Since 2020, John Skevington has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Parkland Medical Center, an 86-bed acute care, Level 3 Trauma Center hospital in Derry, New Hampshire. Parkland is a leader in providing high-quality healthcare services and is a Joint Commission Accredited Hospital. Parkland Medical provides an array of services to the community including 24/7 emergency care, behavioral health, cardiology, oncology/hematology, breast care, orthopedics, women's and children's care, and surgical services.

Earlier in his career, Skevington worked with HCA as an associate COO before going on to become COO at Parkland Medical Center. He then became COO of Portsmouth Regional Hospital - New Hampshire. Skevington earned an MHA from Virginia Commonwealth University and a bachelor’s in health science from Truman State University.

 

9. Christian Forman
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Appcast.io

Christian Forman is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Appcast.io, the award-winning, global leader in programmatic job advertising technology, driving hiring outcomes for more than 2,000 clients.

Forman has 21 years of experience, having begun his career in 2002. Before joining Appcast.io, he was a founder and CEO at StartDate Labs. Earlier in his career, he worked with AIRS as a COO. Forman graduated from Colby College with a bachelor's in government.

 

10. Michael Brandt
Chief Executive Officer, Design Brand Partners

Michael Brandt is the Chief Executive Officer of Design Brand Partners (formerly Holmris US). An American company with Nordic roots, Design Brand Partners partners with Scandinavian and European design-oriented brands to deliver distinctive, award-winning products and solutions to the North American furniture industry. Brandt is responsible for assessing the economic potential of such partnerships and helping firms grow by adding additional product lines and distribution outlets to their portfolio.

Throughout his tenure at Design Brand Partners, Brandt has demonstrated his exceptional skills in analyzing local market and financial data to determine economic viability. He began his professional career in 2001 as a National Sales Manager at Quistfurn A/S. From there, Brandt went on to Steens Furniture A/S, before eventually rising to VP of Sales and Marketing at SIS USA Inc., his most recent position prior to joining Design Brand Partners.

 

11. Eric Ekberg
Chief Executive Officer, Granite Recovery Centers

Eric Ekberg is the Chief Executive Officer of Granite Recovery Centers. He first joined the company in 2022. For over 10 years, Granite Recovery Centers has been transforming the lives of alcohol- and drug-dependent adults from New England and well beyond with a unique blend of evidence-based clinical psychotherapies, a comprehensive 12-Step curriculum, and a full continuum of care.

Ekberg is a successful CEO with 30 years of experience in the financial services and addiction recovery fields. Interestingly, he got started on this path after a career change about 17 years ago in order to fulfill his passion of helping others affected by mental health and substance use disorders. Ekberg continues to commit himself to the critical mission of getting those who suffer the help they need. He has his bachelor’s from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and holds an MBA from New York University.

 

12. Rosco Hill
Chief Executive Officer, Perpetua Labs

Rosco Hill is the Chief Executive Officer of Perpetua Labs, a growth optimization and reporting technology platform for the world's smartest e-commerce businesses to achieve full-funnel engagement and maximum visibility. Hill has 30 years of experience. He began his career in 1993. As CEO, Hill helps lead this transformation among the e-commerce industry, with the mission to connect people and brands faster than ever before.

Before joining Perpetua Labs, Hill was a quant portfolio manager and lead engineer at Clarium Capital Management. Before that, he served as a data scientist at Sun Microsystems Labs. Earlier in his career, he worked with Precision Electronics as a founder. Hill graduated from the University of Toronto with a MS in computer science and from the University of Waterloo with an undergraduate degree in computer engineering.

 

13. Kyle Reagan
Owner & Chief Executive Officer, Decco

Kyle has been an integral part of DECCO since 1995 when he started as a Project Engineer with the company. During his tenure, he has made an impressive career journey and has played a significant role in the growth and success of DECCO. Kyle oversaw the Special Projects Division, currently recognized as DECCOServ, and eventually took ownership of the company in 2018. His visionary leadership has been instrumental in setting the corporate strategy and direction, while providing leadership oversight for the company’s four Operating Groups - DECCOServ, Construction, DECCOFab, and Critical Equipment Handling.

Kyle's commitment to excellence extends beyond DECCO, as he is a two-time past Chairman of ABC Massachusetts and a member of the ABC "Legends" program. He continues to actively serve on the MA ABC Board of Directors, demonstrating his passion for the industry and dedication to driving positive change. He was recognized by the New Hampshire Business Review as a Business Excellence Award Winner in 2021 and also named one of the Top 25 CEOs of New Hampshire for 2023 by Key Executives.

In 2023, DECCO joined the Comfort Systems USA network and Kyle maintains his role as Chief Executive Officer and DECCO’s Chairman of the Board.

 

14. Paul Neveu
Chief Executive Officer, BPAS

Paul Neveu is the Chief Executive Officer of BPAS. He first joined the company in 2005. BPAS is a national provider of retirement plans, benefit plans, fund administration, and collective investment trusts. They support 4,500 retirement plans, $110 billion in trust assets, $1.3 trillion in fund administration, and more than 620,000 participants. Notably, Neveu has a global responsibility for the retirement and employee benefit business lines of their firm. This includes their Plan Administration & Recordkeeping Services division; their Actuarial & Pension Services division; the business operations of BPAS Fiduciary Services and BPAS Trust Company of Puerto Rico; and certain other other teams and business units. Previously, Neveu was a VP of retirement sales at Federated Investors, Inc.. Earlier in his career, he worked with Coopers & Lybrand Consulting as a senior consultant, HRA division. Neveu graduated from the University of New Hampshire.

 

15. Ken Senus
President and Chief Executive Officer, St. Mary's Bank

Ken Senus is the President and Chief Executive Officer of St. Mary’s Bank, the nation’s first credit union, where he previously served as EVP/COO since March 2017. Senus, notably, is the
ninth CEO in the credit union’s 114 year history. During his time as EVP/COO, he oversaw the company's business operations, including Member Contact Center, Information Technology, Loan Operations and Servicing, Deposit Operations, including electronic services, Finance/Accounting, and the retail branch network. In that role, he also helped expand the credit union’s membership and geographic presence.

Before joining St. Mary's Bank, Senus was an SVP and chief information officer at Navigant Credit Union. Before that, he served as an SVP of operations and IT director at Bank Rhode Island. Earlier in his career, he worked with Fleet Bank as an audit supervisor. Senus graduated from Utica University with an undergraduate degree in accounting.

 

16. Brian Bright
Chief Executive Officer, Trajecsys

Brian Bright is the Chief Executive Officer of Trajecsys, which was founded in 2005 by two educators. The company features an online clinical management and tracking system for students of health-related programs. Bright, notably, has held senior operational, business development, strategy, and board roles with innovative educational Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) firms such as Eduventures, Inc, Liaison International, and IntraLearn Software. He has also advised executives, investors, and education industry leaders in the areas of growth, strategy, and business development. As VP of Eduventures, Inc., he led the firm to double digit growth and helped launch the Learning Collaborative, a best practices collaborative venture of higher education schools and programs.

More recently, Bright was VP of Business Development and Strategy for Liaison International, the leading centralized application service for applying to health profession schools and programs. While at Liaison, he was instrumental in securing relationships with leading health profession associations including Nursing (AACN), Dietetics (ADA), and Occupational Therapy (AOTA) as well as over 30 additional associations. He also assisted the launch of the first accreditation management software for specialty accreditors, including the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM), among others. Bright graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a M.Ed. and an undergraduate degree in business and sports management.

 

17. Andy Dahlen
Chief Executive Officer, MegaFood

Andy Dahlen is the Chief Executive Officer of MegaFood. He first joined the company in 2018. MegaFood is committed to improving lives by delivering the most authentic nourishment possible. Over the last 20 years, Dahlen has honed his ability to translate a brand's core values for contemporary audiences on several brands including Beech-Nut, Green Giant and Cascadian Farm, among others. Previously, he was a VP of marketing at Beech-Nut Nutrition Corporation. Before that, he served as a marketing director at General Mills. Earlier in his career, he worked with Northwest Airlines as an international yield management. Dahlen earned an MBA in marketing from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and an undergraduate degree in economics and German from St. Olaf College.

 

18. Dave Fairburn
Chief Executive Officer, North Point Outdoors

Dave Fairburn is the Chief Executive Officer of North Point Outdoors, a full service, Commercial Landscape and Snow Management company. NPO provides a wide range of services to Retail, Office, Distribution, Industrial and HOA in New Hampshire and Massachusetts from its operational headquarters in Derry, NH. Fairburn has 18 years of experience, having begun his career in 2005. A Co-Owner of North Point Outdoors, Fairburn is also the chief visionary of the company.

Fairburn is responsible for thinking outside the box to create our long-term vision, mission and direction. He creates the tools and approach that help the team execute The North Point Difference. He is also an Irrigation Association Certified Irrigation Contractor and holds a NH Supervisory Pesticide License in Turf, Tree & Shrub, and Right of Way. Fairburn is a SIMA Certified Snow Professional and working on his snow accreditation with the Accredited Snow Contractor Association. Before joining North Point Outdoors, he was a president at Blue Eagle Irrigation Co. Fairburn graduated from Daniel Webster College with aviation flight operations.

 

19. Andrew Ralich

Andrew Ralich began his professional career 18 years ago. Ralich brings extensive experience in both the software development and financial technology fields to his role at oneZero.

As CEO, Ralich has led oneZero’s growth from a start-up to a global leader in enterprise-level software solutions for participants in the retail forex market. His primary areas of focus are product design, industry and competitive analysis, and managing long term partnerships. Ralich first got his start in 2005 as a software developer at EMC. From there, he eventually rose to project manager at Boston Technologies, his most recent position prior to joining oneZero Financial. Ralich graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with an undergraduate degree in computer science.

 

20. David Beatson
Chief Executive Officer, GPD Optoelectronics

David Beatson is the Chief Executive Officer of GPD Optoelectronics. He first joined the company in 2023. GPD Optoelectronics is a leading manufacturer of compound semiconductor photodetectors for OEMs. They offer highly customized devices and packaging for a wide variety of markets including Aerospace, Defense, Bio Sensing, Metrology, and Instrumentation. Beatson is a senior leader with a proven track record of delivering competitive advantage and driving profitable growth through developing and implementing global strategies to transform organizations.

Furthermore, Beatson is an engaged leader who builds high-performing teams by focusing on cohesion, communication, motivation, and innovation. Previously, he was a managing director in North America at Coherent. Before that, he served as a GM and president of Thorlabs TQE at Thorlabs. Earlier in his career, he worked with GE as a guidance, navigation, and controls engineer. Beatson earned a MSM in finance and management from Penn State University and an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Drexel University.

 

21. Dave Lucey
Chief Executive Officer, Biscom

Dave Lucey is the Chief Executive Officer of Biscom, a company that first pioneered the enterprise fax server and secure fax marketplaces over three decades ago. Today, they remain a market leader that is committed to continually innovating solutions that streamline and automate the way critical information is sent, received, and acted on. As CEO, Lucey brings more than 30 years’ of healthcare technology and SaaS experience to Biscom. He provides leadership and expertise in enterprise solution delivery, transforming business operations, scaling SaaS platform development and executing go to market strategies.

While most recently at HighRoads as COO, Lucey was responsible for product management, client services, and technical operations for the SaaS data management platform. He drove overall business transformation and established HighRoads as the industry leader for front office automation, master data management, and sales enablement utilized by the largest health insurance organizations. Lucey also held executive leadership roles over the last two decades at other prominent health IT firms including Advantasure, IQVIA, and NantHealth. Lucey graduated from Saint Michael's College with an undergraduate degree in business administration.

 

22. Matt Masiello
Chief Executive Officer, SIAA

Matt Masiello is the Chief Executive Officer of SIAA, a national network of independent insurance agents with 12.5+ billion in total written premium. SIAA utilizes its collective strength through traditional and alternative market channels for the purpose of providing insurance consumers with competitive choices in addition to providing significant profit and equity appreciation opportunities for SIAA Member Agencies. Notably, 13% of all independent insurance agencies have decided to join SIAA through one of its 49 regional master agencies.

Masiello has responsibility for executive management of the largest alliance of independent insurance agencies in the U.S. and its related companies, providing leadership to senior executives of SIAA and Master Agencies across the country. His more than 30 years of experience at SIAA and SAN Group have instilled in him the knowledge, expertise, and skills to provide executive leadership to SAN Group, SIAA's original and largest Master Agency operating across the Northeast. Masiello has responsibility for the overall success of both companies, as well as providing strategic vision and leadership for their futures.

 

23. Garrett Partridge
Chief Executive Officer, ARC Technology Solutions

Garrett Partridge is the Chief Executive Officer of ARC Technology Solutions, a company that designs, manufactures and services innovative technical solutions for the largest global industrial companies. As the CEO, Partridge has had the privilege to lead a dedicated team in delivering advanced technical solutions spanning from circuit card design to multi-million dollar systems for the Aerospace, Telecommunications, Automotive, USAF, and Navy, fueling industries that prioritize data and automation to elevate their product quality. Previously, Partridge was a director of operations in USA and Canada at Gefran. Before that, he served as a director of operations at ARC Technology Solutions, LLC. Earlier in his career, he worked with Sunset Hill Communications as a network technician. Partridge earned an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of New Hampshire.

 

24. Jennifer Dye
Founder & Chief Executive Officer, InSync Training

Jennifer Dye is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of InSync Training, a global virtual consulting firm that specializes in creating and delivering engaging, innovative, and effective virtual learning. Chief Executive Officer, Ekso Bionics

Scott Davis has served as Chief Executive Officer and a Director at Ekso Bionics since December 2022. Ekso Bionics has been pioneering the field of robotic exoskeletons, or wearable robots, to augment human strength, endurance and mobility. The company's first commercially available product called Ekso has helped thousands of people living with paralysis take millions of steps not otherwise possible. Previously he served as Ekso’s President and COO since January of 2022, and Executive Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development since April 2021.

Davis has more than two decades of worldwide leadership success in fast growing high-tech companies. Prior to joining the Company, from December 2018 through March 2021, Davis served as CEO of Globalmatix, Inc., a disruptive IoT connected telematics solution provider. Earlier, from January 2017 through December 2018, Davis served as SVP Strategy for GetWireless, LLC, a telecommunications equipment provider. From 2015 through 2020, he provided C-level consulting services assisting on scalability, process improvement, business development, M&A support and go-to-market strategy as President of SGD Executive Services LLC. Davis graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with an undergraduate degree in business administration.
