Flywire Corporation has appointed Patrick Blanc as Chief Technology Officer, tasking him with overseeing global engineering, implementation, and technical support. Flywire integrates its payment network and software into accounts receivable workflows across education, healthcare, travel, and B2B sectors, and connects with enterprise systems to streamline payment operations. The company said Blanc will guide technology strategy and execution across its payment platform and vertical software as it advances an AI-focused engineering approach and scales to meet rising client demand.
Chief Executive Officer Mike Massaro said, “Patrick joins Flywire at an important moment as we accelerate how we innovate, build, and deliver our solutions.” He added that Blanc’s experience at Visa and PayPal provides “the rare combination of technical vision and operational excellence” needed to support the company’s next phase of growth.
Blanc most recently served as CTO of Ingenico and previously held senior technology roles at Visa and PayPal, where he worked on payment, issuing, acquiring, and fraud management platforms. He said, “I'm excited to build on this foundation and scale our capabilities to meet growing demand.” Blanc succeeds David King, who will transition to Chief Product Officer and Co-President of Global Education.
